Render shows what the HTC One (M9)’s BoomSound speakers could look like

According to previous reports, HTC is planning to take sound to a whole new level with the HTC One (M9) (HTC Hima) by partnering up with audio masters at Bose. The marriage of the two is said to result in next generation BoomSound speakers. The two are said to have worked on minimising the size of the speaker grill and amplified stereo speaker set, which is said to have shrunken down the size of the top and bottom bezels as well. The render you see above come from PhoneDesigner.eu, which envisions what the BoomSound speaker could look like based on previous leaks. It shows the bottom part of the smartphone, showing a slim slit instead of a speaker grill like seen on the HTC One (M8). About the slim speaker grill, we re not exactly sure how HTC and Bose can fit powerful BoomSound speakers in that slim slit, but the Taiwanese firm has proven time and time again in the audio department. This said, we re more excited that doubtful on what HTC has in store for us. Can t wait for the HTC On

Moto E 2nd Gen render allegedly leaked

Fan of the affordable Motorola Moto E? It seems the Lenovo-owned firm is getting ready to launch the smartphone s successor, as an alleged render of the Moto E 2nd Gen (Moto E2 or whatever Motorola ends up calling the device) has been leaked. The press shot you see above comes to us courtesy of AndroidPolice. So why does it believe that is has stumbled upon the Moto E 2nd Gen? Simply because it isn t sure what else it could be. Unfortunately, the device s specs are yet to be determined, but the site noticed that it lacks a second speaker grille on the front, and the proportions are all weird in terms of the screen:body ratio, which indicates that this is a small smartphone just like the Moto E. Another  giveaway for being inexpensive is the lack of a camera flash. However, AndroidPolice did notice a secondary noise-cancelling microphone found on the rear case. It seems the Moto E 2nd Gen has gained a front-facing camera, which was absent on its predecessor. As for software, it does

Here s the tweet: Old habits die hard pic.twitter.com/eQ81vxQl2S — Evan Blass (@evleaks) January 28, 2015 Judging from what we ve seen, these renders show a more refined design compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the One (M9) and One (M9) Plus looks similar to the Desire Eye, HTC s selfie-sentric smartphone. What s noticeable about the HTC One (M9) Plus is the home button. We re guessing that this is a fingerprint scanner. The render also reveals that the dual speakers are integrated into the smartphone s body, giving it a more sleek look. Of course,
