Alleged diagram shows LG G5 design

In a recent leak, we saw an alleged diagram of the yet to be announced LG G5. Now a new diagram has been leaked, which claims to show the smartphone s design. Alleged diagram The diagram seen above was leaked by Hebrew-speaking Shai Mizrachi. The diagram shows the LG G5 featuring a curved back and noticeably thin bezels. It also shows that LG has moved the smartphone s volume button to the left side of the device, instead of the back like that on the LG G4. The power button remains on the back of the device, which is said to double as a fingerprint scanner. Also shown is a rear-facing camera with laser auto focus and LED flash seemingly found above the power button. According to the diagram, the LG G5 will measure 149.4 x 73.9 x 8.2 mm, making the device slightly narrower and thinner compared to the LG G4, which measures 148.9 x 76.1 x 9.8 mm. Based on the diagram, the screen should measure 5.5 inches. It is said to offer a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). Like we menti

Alleged LG G5 renders surface – shows metal construction and new way to remove battery

Looking forward to the LG G5? If so, we ve got a treat for you. A newly leaked render allegedly shows the device, re-confirming what we ve heard from past rumours, plus something new. LG G5 render? The renders above were created by Korean-speaking CNet Korea. The renders, the site claims, were based on information sent by an eyewitness who claims to have seen the unannounced device. The renders re-confirm what we ve learned from past reports, which is the LG G5 will be constructed out of metal. Apart from showing a device constructed out of metal, they also show changes in design. The LG G5 in the renders does away with the rounded back and slightly curved design of the LG G4. Instead, it seems to be flat, thin, and features smoother edges. The renders also reveal that the volume buttons have been moved from the back to the left side of the frame. Here s where it gets interesting. Smartphones with removable batteries feature removable backs that allow users to easily switch batteries

LG was at CES 2016 in Las Vegas this month to lift the lid on the new LG K7 and the LG K10, and it looks like it is getting ready to announce something new before MWC 2016 kicks off on the 22nd of February. The South Korean phone maker has sent an invite for a press event on the 21st of February in Barcelona, Spain. The question is, what should we expect from LG at its press event? LG February 21 event The image above shows us what seems to be a music box, while telling that the play begins, with play in big bold letters. The question is, what does LG have in store for us on the 21st of February? Is it the much-awaited LG G5? Unfortunately, we re not exactly sure if LG is planning to announce a smartphone or something else. It s possible that LG is planning to announce a new music streaming service, but we re sure that LG isn t going to waste an major press event for just a music streaming service. This said, we could see a new device at the event. So will we see the LG G5 on the 21st

Schematic allegedly shows Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus

Recently, we came across what was claimed to be a schematic that showed the 5.2-inch Samsung Galaxy S7 and the 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Now, a new schematic allegedly shows the rumoured and massive Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus. Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus? Similar to what we ve recently seen with the past schematic, this newly leaked schematic, which allegedly comes from case maker ITSKINS and leaked by GSMArena, also claims to show us what the Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus will look like. It also shows that Samsung did not completely redesign the S7 Plus. It looks exactly like the S6, but features a rectangular home button unlike the rounded home button of the S6. There is, however, conflicting information with the S7 in the first schematic and this new one. In the first schematic, the S7 is said to feature a 5.2-inch screen. In this new schematic, the S7 is said to feature a 5.1-inch screen. Everything else is consistent, such as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge featuring a 5.5-inch screen. La

Samsung Galaxy On7 header shows Galaxy On5

Recent leaks were all about the Samsung Galaxy On7 and the Samsung Galaxy On5. Now the Galaxy On7 s product page has just gone live via Samsung China, and it s header confirms that the On5 exists as well. Samsung Galaxy On7 header confrims Samsung Galaxy On5 Before anything else, the Galaxy On7 may be an affordable device for the masses, but it doesn t look like it at all. It bears Samsung s current design language, making it resemble the S6 with the Note 3 s leather-like rear cover. Check out the Samsung Galaxy On7 s official renders below: At the time of writing, Samsung China is yet to make the Galaxy On5 official, but it seems to have confirmed the existence of the device in the On7 s header (see first render above). Going back to the Galaxy On 7, it may be an affordable device, but its specs do not disappoint. First of all, it offers dual-SIM card slots for users who prefer to use two SIMs in one device. It measures 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm and weighs in at 172g. It sports a 5.5-inc

The recently unveiled LG V10 has now been released in South Korea. LG is heavily promoting their new phablet, with one new Korean-speaking ad showing how the device can be childproof. Childproof LG V10 Here s the new ad: We all know the horrors devices go through in the hands of a child, which is exactly what the video shows. It shows the LG V10 being beaten up by three kids in every possible way. The LG V10 rocks a stainless steel frame and a material called Dura Skin found on the back and bottom of the device. According to LG, Dura Skin offers added protection from direct impacts to the device. Although the LG V10 is a tough device when it comes to scratches and drops, it isn t water resistant, which is why the ad doesn t show the device being dunked in liquids. To recap, the LG V10 sports a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). This works out to a pixel density of 513 ppi. Photo shows Sony XPERIA Z5 Premium torn down – reveals thermal paste and dual heat pipes

At IFA 2015 in Berlin, Germany, Sony officially unveiled the Sony XPERIA Z5, the Sony XPERIA Z5 Compact, and the Sony XPERIA Z5 Premium, the world s first smartphone with a 4K screen. What s disappointing is that all three smartphones come with the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor made by Qualcomm. True, it is a powerful CPU, but it is also plagued with overheating issues. With this in mind, since the Sony XPERIA Z5 Premium sports a 4K screen, will it constantly overheat? This CPU is a 64-bit octa-core processor that comes with four cores clocked at 2 GHz, four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, and an Adreno 430 GPU. Sounds powerful right. The problem is, this is the same processor under the hood of the international Sony XPERIA Z3 Plus and the Japanese-exclusive Sony XPERIA Z4 (both former and later are one an the same), which caused overheating problems. This said, would the same CPU cause the same overheating problems with the Sony XPERIA Z5?
