Diagram reveals almost non-existent Samsung Galaxy S7 camera hump

We heard that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge could do away with the camera hump found on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. A newly leaked diagram reveals that there will still be a camera hump. This time, however, it will barely be noticed. Minimal camera hump The image above was posted by Steve Hemmerstoffer on Twitter. It compares the camera hump of the Samsung Galaxy S7 to that on the Samsung Galaxy S6. It reveals that the camera on board the Galaxy S7 will add 0.8 mm to the thickness of the device, compared to the rather significant 1.7 mm added to the thickness of the Galaxy S6. To recap, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to feature a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). Zauba reveals S7 will measure 5.1 inches, while S7 Edge will measure 5.5 inches


Past reports agree that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will measure 5.1 inches, but the jury s still out on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Some say it will measure 5.5 inches, while some say it will meausure 5.1 inches. A new listing mirrors the former. Zauba confrims screen sizes The Zauba listing (screenshot above) was first spotted by Hungarian-speaking NapiDroid.hu. Zauba, India’s import-export database, has been the source of information on yet to be announced devices, since manufacturers send prototypes to India for testing. The listing reveals that 2 units of the SM-G930R4 (believed to be a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S7) and 2 units of the SM-G935R4 (believed to be a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) have been sent to India for testing. Geekbench reveals details on Exynos 8890-sporting Samsung Galaxy S7


In a recent report, we told you that Samsung Galaxy S7 with the Exynos 8890 SoC under the hood (international version and the version headed to the UK) with model number SM-G930F was listed on the AnTuTu benchmark site for testing. Now, another version of the S7 with the same processor passed through another benchmark database for testing. Geekbench lists Samsung Galaxy S7 with Exynos 8890 SoC The Geekbench3 result (shown above) was first spotted by Hungarian-speaking NapiDroid.hu. The listing reveals that another version of the Samsung Galaxy S7  (SM-G930W8) also features the Exynos 8890 SoC. Most of the versions of the S7 that have been benchmarked feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. This version is for the US and Chinese markets. Benchmark reveals Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) to feature 5.2-inch screen

Samsung quietly lifted the lid on the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) in Dubai. It seems the South Korean tech giant is getting ready to announce another Galaxy J series device, as the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has allegedly passed through a benchmark test. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (launched in 2015) carried the model number SM-J500. This said, we re assuming that the SM-J510x is the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016). User Agent data reveals LG G5 will carry model number “LG-H830”

Rumours surrounding the yet to be announced LG G5 have only begun to surface. Although we haven t come across a lot about the LG G5 compared to other flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S7, we ve learned a great deal on what the device is expected to offer. Now a new leak has revealed the device s model number. Alleged LG G5 model number The image above was leaked by Hungarian-speaking NapiDroid.hu. It shows HTTP User Agent data of a device with model number LG-H830. This is believed to be the model number of the LG G5. Although LG is yet to officially unveil their next flagship, the alleged model number of the LG G5 does make sense. After all, the model number LG-H830 is yet to be seen on any LG-made device. That plus the model number of the LG G4 is LG-H810. Additionally, the User Agent data also reveals that the LG G5 will run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. AnTuTu listing reveals Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to feature 5.1-inch screen and 12-megapixel camera


Past reports have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a flat 5.2-inch screen, while the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will feature a curved 5.5-inch screen. This is different from the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which both sport 5.1-inch screens. A new listing on AnTuTu (first spotted on Chinese-speaking Weibo by French-speaking @NoWhereElseFR and renowned Samsung insider SamMobile) reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will feature a 5.1-inch screen. Leaked schematic reveals Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge dimensions

Recently, a report claimed that there will be only two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7 a flat 5.2-inch version (regular Galaxy S7) and a curved 5.5-inch version (Galaxy S7 Edge). Now, a leaked schematic is claiming to show the two, as well revealing the devices dimensions. Alleged schematic The schematic seen above was leaked by Android Authority. It reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S7, despite sporting a 5.2-inch screen (bigger than the 5.1-inch screen of its predecessor), will share the same width and height as the Samsung Galaxy S6, which measures 70.5 x 143 mm. The S7 s 5.2-inch screen will have an aspect ratio of 16:9, which would mean that the it would have a screen-to-body ratio of 73.94%. For reference, the Galaxy S6 has a screen-to-body ratio of 70.7%. Leaked China Mobile roadmap reveals Samsung Galaxy S7 to be released in March

Past reports suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released a month earlier than expected in March of 2016. The Samsung Galaxy S6 was released in April of 2015. List reveals 4 versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7

Lately, we ve been hearing a lot about the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S7. We ve seen leaked renders from a case maker that allegedly reveal the smartphone s design. The leak also revealed that Samsung is cooking up a 6-inch version of the S7 called the Galaxy S7 Plus. Recently, CAD renders of the S7 Plus have also surfaced. The latest leaks show the regular and extra large version of the S7, but we haven t come across renders of the S7 Edge or the S7 Edge Plus. Does this mean that we won t see curved versions next year?
