Benchmark reveals HTC One A9 to sport MediaTek deca-core CPU and 4 GB of RAM

It shows that the HTC One A9 will come with the MediaTek MT6797 CPU. This particular processor employs a Tri-Cluster design with two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2 GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz. MediaTek uses the 20 nm process in the production of the CPU, resulting in the processor using 30% less energy compared to other high-end chipsets.
