Microsoft to provide low-cost version of Windows Phone 8.1 to manufacturers

Interest in getting your hands on entry-level handsets powered by Windows Phone 8.1? Microsoft has announced that a version of the latest version of Windows Phone for low-cost devices will be available to manufacturers. Microsoft announced in their official blog: Over the next couple weeks leading into Computex in Taipei, you’re going to see many of our hardware partners announce new Windows devices. Microsoft was built on the foundation of partner opportunity and our goal remains mutual success for us and our partners.
