LG G5 rumoured to not feature Nuclun 2 SoC – could be reserved for LG V10 follow-up

Smartphone makers such as Samsung and Huawei have been making their own processors for smartphones. There are Samsung smartphones that feature its Exynos chipsets. According reports, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will sport the new Exynos 8890 SoC, which has broken records on various benchmark tests. Currently, Huawei s fastest SoC is the Kirin 950 CPU, which can be found under the hood of the new Mate 8 and is expected to be on board of the company s upcoming flagship the Huawei P9. LG also manufactures its own SoC called Nuclun. The question is, will it be found under the hood of the upcoming LG G5? Read on to find out. LG lifts the lid on NUCLUN octa-core processor and G3 Screen

According to previous reports, LG was cooking up the LG G3 Screen (code named Liger) that comes with its own Odin/NUCLUN octa-core processor under the hood. Now the Korean device maker has made the processor and smartphone official.
