Google Nexus 5X starts shipping on the 22nd of October

On the 29th of September, Google lifted the lid on the LG Nexus 5X, the successor of the LG Nexus 5. The smartphone was available for pre-order soon after, but the search giant failed to say when the device would start shipping, until now. Google Nexus 9 UK shipping date to be pushed from November 3 to mid-December?

TSMC now shipping A8 chips to Apple, according to report

According to a report, TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor manufacturing Co.) has started shipping processors for the next iPhone to Apple. Although the report does not mention the A8 chip, TSMC has been rumoured to supply the Cupertino firm with the said processors for the iPhone 6. The news comes to us courtesy of WSJ. According to the business news agency, “Chip giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. has begun shipping the computing brains used in smartphones and tablets to Apple Inc., highlighting the U.S. company s continued push to diversify its suppliers. “TSMC began shipping its first batch of microprocessors to the Cupertino, Calif., company in the second quarter, people familiar with the matter said, supplanting Samsung Electronics Co., which had a lock on the orders for the chips until last year.” So what does this mean?
