Fake Apple Watch sold at CES 2015 for around £18

Take a look at the images below. At first glance, one would think that the wearable is the Apple Watch, the Cupertino firm s fashionable smartwatch. However, the smartwatch is nothing but a cheap knockoff that was being sold at CES 2015 for $27 (around £18). Mashable was at CES 2015 in Las Vegas last week, when it came across Chinese firm Hyperion s booth and spotted a familiar device, the Apple Watch. Not only does the Chinese company s smartwatch look exactly like the Apple Watch, its software, down to the icons and design, is similar to that of the Apple Watch s as well. To top it all off, Hyperion was also selling their smartwatch to anyone interested for $27. $27 for a smartwatch is a steal. We re just wondering how long it ll last. A week maybe? Maybe less? Would you buy this knockoff Apple Watch from Hyperion? Let us know through a comment on our Phones LTD Facebook page.

Three days ago, The BlackBerry Passport, the Canadian firm s new flagship, went live on the company s website. Just six hours after going on sale, stocks were quickly sold out. This is the same case with Amazon, which sold out its stock after only 10 hours. The news comes to us courtesy of Bloomberg: BlackBerry Ltd. (BBRY:US) says it has sold 200,000 Passport smartphones, which are profitable at the current price points of $599 in the U.S. and C$699 ($627) in Canada. The square-screened Passport sold out in 6 hours on BlackBerry’s website and within 10 hours on Amazon.com, Chief Executive Officer John Chen said today on the company’s earnings conference call. Although it seems BlackBerry CEO John Chen has taken the conservative approach to getting his company back on track, it looks like the Canadian phone maker is slowly getting its mojo back.
