It claims that LG is not planning to introduce a new G Flex at the trade show. The report doesn t mention if the venue or date has been changed, or if LG has decided to discontinue the G Flex. Sony to unveil powerful smartphone at CES 2016 – not the XPERIA Z6

It seems that Sony will be lifting the lid on new devices at CES 2016, which kicks off in Las Vegas in January of next year. One of these devices will be a powerful smartphone. No, it is less likely to be the XPERIA Z6. #SonyCES The invitation you see above was sent to PhoneArena. It reveals that Sony s CES 2016 press conference will kick off on the 5th of January at 5 pm Pacific time in the Las Vegas Convention Center, which is the usual venue of the annual CES convention. The invite also shows VR headsets, hi-fi gear, a CyberShot camera, an extremely slim TV, and of course  a smartphone. There are a number of reports that speculate that the smartphone shown in the invite is the Sony XPERIA Z6 Sony s next flagship. Tweet claims Samsung will not unveil Galaxy S7 early

According to numerous reports we ve come across in the past few months, Samsung is planning to unveil its next flagship earlier than expected in January of next year and launch it also earlier than expected in February. The Galaxy S6 was officially announced in early March and released to the public in April of this year. HTC to unveil One A9 on October 20 – to run Marshmallow out of the box?


HTC recently lifted the lid on two new smartphones the Taiwanese- and Japanese-exclusive HTC Butterfly 3 and an upgraded version of the HTC One M9 Plus, the HTC One M9 Plus Aurora Edition. The two were unveiled on the 29th of September, which was expected to be the day the rumoured One A9 would make its official debut, but was MIA at the event. We ve known for quite some time now from previous rumours that Apple is planning to host a press event on the 9th of September. At the event, Apple is expected to introduce its new iPhones the Apple iPhone 6S and the Apple iPhone 6S Plus. Tweet claims Apple to unveil iPhone 6C alongside iPhone 6S and 6S Plus

Various rumours have claimed that Apple is cooking up the iPhone 6C (concept shown below), a smaller-screened iPhone. Unlike the iPhone 5C, the iPhone 6C is said to clad in aluminium, offering a more premium look and feel. Samsung to unveil new smartwatch with NFC for mobile payments?

We know that Samsung acquired startup LoopPay to develop its own mobile payment service Samsung Pay. It is said to have a huge advantage over Apple Pay, since no special type of hardware is required to be installed in store counters. Sony to unveil international XPERIA Z4 next week?

According to Taiwan-based ePrice, Sony will be hosting a press event in Taiwan on the 27th of May, while Hong Kong-based RingHK says Sony will be hosting a press event in Hong Kong on the 28th of May. It is believed that the international Sony XPERIA Z4 will make its official debut on those dates. The Sony XPERIA Z4 has already been unveiled in Japan last month, but this variant is a Japanese exclusive. Sony said that a global version will be officially unveiled towards the end of May.
