These days, the internet is filled with rumours about the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S7. From specs to screen sizes, we thought we knew all there is to know about the yet to be announced device, until now. A new report is claiming to know something new about the highly-anticipated Galaxy S7. Iris scanner on board? The new rumour comes from Polish-speaking Android.com.pl. The report claims that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be more expensive than expected. Why? It suggests that the Korean tech giant s next flagship will feature a new security feature an iris scanner. This will allow users to unlock the device and so basically anything a fingerprint scanner can do by simply looking at the iris scanner. Apple iPhone 6S Plus availability to be limited due supply chain issues?

Apple has recently lifted the lid on their two new iPhones the Apple iPhone 6S and the Apple iPhone 6S Plus. The two are now available for pre-order and will launch in the UK on the 25th of September. However, if a renowned analyst is to be believed, the phablet-sized iPhone 6S Plus will be available in limited quantities upon launch due to supply chain issues. Supply chain issues? The news comes to us courtesy of AppleInsider, who obtained a note to investors from KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst who is renowned for making accurate predictions on anything Apple-related. Kuo informed investors that the Apple iPhone 6S Plus will be in short supply during its launch on the 25th of September due to issues with Apple s supply chain. According to Kuo, Minbea, Apple s supplier of backlight modules for the iPhone 6S Plus, is currently suffering from bottlenecks, which will result in the phablet s limited stock when launched. HTC One M9 launch in Taiwan delayed due to ‘software upgrade’

The HTC One M9 was expected to be launched in Taiwan first on the 16th of March (Monday), but according to Taiwanese media, the launch was delayed due to a software upgrade. The news comes to us courtesy of FocusTaiwan. The news agency reportedly got an email from HTC, saying that the HTC One M9 will be available as soon as possible, and that the reason behind the delay is the latest version of software. Additionally, some interested parties who pre-ordered the device received and email from the Taiwanese firm, informing them that the smartphone will be launched on the 20th of March (Friday) instead. So what s the reason behind the software upgrade? According to one poster on Taiwanese social media, the HTC One M9 could suffer from boot failure without the upgrade. No LG G Pro 3 due to LG G4, according to report

From 2013 to 2014 LG released its G Pro series starting from the LG Optimus G Pro to the LG G Pro 2. However, according to a report, the G Pro line will comes to an end in 2015 due to the LG G4. The report comes from Korean-speaking HeraldCorp. According to its report, there won t be an LG G Pro 3, since LG has axed its phablet line to focus more on its flagship for next year the LG G4. Although the report claims that LG s G Pro series has been discontinued, it doesn t say that LG has axed it plans of launching new phablets. So we could see new large-screened LG-made phablets for next year. Of course, there s no way of telling if the report is accurate, since LG is yet to make an official announcement on the matter. Apple iPhone 6 Plus crashing due to unknown problem

We ve been coming across a number of issues plaguing owners of the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. First there was the Bendgate fiasco, which revealed the 5.5-inch phablet was susceptible to bending with just a small amount of pressure. Then the Hargate issue surfaced, with owners with facial hair complaining about their beards getting caught up in between the screen and chassis. The third is the the Dyegate issue, wherein owners complained about the dye of their jeans pockets staining the plastic band that runs across the smartphone. Now a new issue has surfaced. iPhone 6 suppliers facing problems due to thinner parts

We ve seen dummy or mockup units of the iPhone 6 and we can immediately tell that is noticeably slimmer than its predecessor. However, according to a report, slimmer parts are causing technological difficulties, due to their reduced profile. The news comes to us courtesy of DigiTimes. According to the site, Taiwan-based component makers are reducing the thickness of components including panels, chassis and battery packs for upcoming iPhones, and are facing technological difficulties maintaining or hiking yield rates. Consequently, Apple orders will contribute to component makers revenues but will not help in increasing gross margins, according to supply chain makers, adding that 60-70 million new iPhones are expected to be sold by the end of 2014. The new iPhones battery only has a thickness of 2mm, thinner than the 3mm of the iPhone 5-series, but both feature a similar capacity.
